Blogging in the Fab Lane Event Tonight

I'm pretty excited about tonight. Through the beauty of social connectedness in Facebook, I've recently met quite a few amazing people in my local area of Columbia, Md. One of them is Jessie Newburn, who owns American City Girls , a business specializing in "distinctive 1940s fashion-design cards and prints."

Jessie invited me to attend tonight's local workshop for bloggers called Blogging in the Fab Lane, where David Hobby, the blogger and businessman behind Strobist will be talking about the economics of, and secrets to, a successful blog.

Americans at Their Personal Best in the Morning?

A new Gallup poll found that 55 percent of Americans are at their personal best from the hours of 5 a.m. to 11:59 a.m. I would definitely be in the minority then, somewhere in the afternoon to evening time frame. I don't wake up until I've had at least a thermos full of coffee, and that's usually about 10 a.m. But I'm still not with it until after lunch sometime. Usually the later it gets, the sharper I am, until about 11 p.m., and then it's downhill from there. What about you?

Electric Sheep Screensaver

Electric Sheep is by far the best screensaver I've ever found. It's free, AND it's available for most operating systems.

Download it here.
